We're hitting the API limits. Can you help?

Possibly. Drop us a line at api@opencorporates.com explaining the problem. We have to strike the balance between ensuring a good service for all users (hence a limit) and having a limit that works for heavy users

I want to call the API from a widget on my website. Will I be hit by the API limits?

You shouldn't be. The API throttles usage based on the IP address of the request. In the case of a javascript widget this will be the IP address of the end user's computer, and they are unlikely to hit the limits
